Earrings with an origami crane floating inside a small glass ball, crafted by Japanese artisans.
These unique earrings feature a delicate origami crane swaying inside a glass ball, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship. The tiny crane is folded from 2.5 cm washi paper. The glass ball is approximately 2 cm, and the earring hooks are made of non-allergic surgical stainless steel.
The washi paper, handmade and hand-dyed by Japanese artisans, is in a pale green color known as Asagi, reminiscent of young green onions, with a printed pattern of Nadeshiko flowers in white. The Nadeshiko flower symbolizes not only outer beauty but also inner excellence. The crane symbolizes longevity and peace, recognized worldwide.
The glass ball's opening is only 4 mm wide, and after inserting the small folded crane, its wings are spread using a toothpick. While the glass ball is delicate, it is not easily broken.
