~Design Concept~ Nekomata (cat demon) is said to be an old cat in disguise, with a forked tail and dressed in geisha clothing. There is a theory that Nekomata plays the shamisen because cat skin was used to make the shamisen, and they sing songs of pity for their kind. Contrary to this theory, Matoi no Nekomata is a Japanese pattern design that depicts a cheerful and cute cat demon.

This piece incorporates calm Japanese pattern colors into the cuteness, creating a cute yet carefree "cat."

The T-shirts of the Japanese pattern brand Matoi are made of heavyweight material that is thick and durable. The 5.6 oz. fabric, which is a typical heavyweight material, is a high-grade T-shirt that combines moderate thickness and durability with little stretch or deformation. It is comfortable to wear when you put it on, and you can wear it repeatedly without it becoming wrinkled. The thick fabric and double stitching make it an exquisite fabric thickness that can be worn as a single T-shirt as an outfit, rather than a thin and unreliable T-shirt as an inner. Therefore, it is a T-shirt that you can wear without the worries that are common with thin T-shirts, such as "it does not become wrinkled", "it is not see-through", and "it can be worn for a long time". For details on the specifications of the T-shirts of the Japanese pattern brand Matoi, all materials such as fabric are made in Japan, and only sewing is done overseas. The finished T-shirts are inspected at a factory in Japan, and only those with no problems in the finish are printed at a Japanese printing factory and shipped to the customer. Strictly speaking, the product is made from Japanese materials and finished in Japan, so it is a made in Japan product; however, the product itself is sewn overseas, so the tag on the product will indicate the country of sewing (e.g. made in China).
