Vintage Kimono Jacket HAORI, in silk.

Length: 85cm
Yukitake (Sleeve-to-sleeve width): 61cm
Sleeve height: 46cm

There are slight irregularities in the color. There are a few small stains on the inner lining of the shoulders.
The silk is soft and has a subtle sheen. I believe it can be worn for everyday use.

The scattered pine needle motif can be worn year-round, with the fine needle-like pine leaves giving it a timeless look. Pine trees are evergreen, and in the Edo period, the Matsuba Chirashi (scattered pine needle) pattern was reserved exclusively for the Tokugawa shogunate family. It is believed that this restriction was due to its origins in the pine emblem of the Matsudaira clan, the Tokugawa’s ancestors, and use by other families was prohibited.
